Help me decide

Post by papabug71 »

Help me decide... between the two that is. I have narrowed my choices of new gauges down to 2 different styles. I cant choose. You guys help me out. I really like both of them. Its just going to be water temp & oil press. Nothing fancy.

I like the traditional chrome because they have the red pointers. If I get these, all my pointers in the truck will be nice & bright. Plus they have a nice & shinny chrome bezel.

But I also like these old tyme gauges. They too have a chrome bezel & some really cool pointers. Not to mention the old school block lettering. They kinda look like something you could get in 71' if you wanted aftermarket gauges too. :2cents:

I like the first one. And I like the second one. :D But if I had to choose I would go with the first one. :2cents:
Whatever you pick it will look good. Are these going in a f-600 cluster?

Thanks guys. Im leaning towards the 1st ones as well.

They are just going in a panel under the dash to replace my 15 year old wal-mart gauges. Nothing fancy here.

I like the second one, but then again I do like the old school look.

All these are southern Arizona desert trucks, little to no rust, but the sun takes its toll,ha.

IMO the 1st one is old school pretaining to our era trucks and the second one is (don't really know how to phrase it) custom or retro old school. Or in my way of thinking mass produced to look old school. just my :2cents:
Hands down the best of both is the Made in USA on both faces.
