Cobra Radio

I have a Cobra am/fm radio model 105 GTL that I'm trying to figure out what wire goes where. It has this plug for some unknown purpose that I'm going to cut off but I don't know what wire color does what. I know red is power and brown is the ground as these two colors have already been cut out for a prior use. I'm pretty sure yellow is memory and really pointless since this radio doesn't have presets or anything like that. Now the colors remaining are white, grey, black, orange, blue and green. What wire does what. Is each wire separate for the speakers and not paired?

my guess is the white orange blue and green are speaker wires. the blck shoul dbe ground but who knows. i have never seen brown as a ground color. the grey could work with the speakers as a five way speaker hook up. it is a wierd way to hook them up but it is suppose to be doen that way if the wire is for that. either that or yellow is part of the speakers wiring. usually pink or another red is memeory or direct battery for a clock or something. but memory could be battery who knows. are the wires grouped some how to give you a better idea on what might go to what?

I had a stereo before that the orange went to an amp if you had one. The blue wire could be for a power antenna. On my stereo, red, yellow and black are powers and ground. White, green,gray and brown I'm guessing are speakers. The speaker wires are generally seperate but each set will have a solid one and a solid with a black stripe. Hope that helps

if it is real old, the color are not standardized and will have to contact cobra. standardized colors are
red, yellow: +
black: -
violet, green, gray, white: speaker + (with black strip - )
orange: dimmer/illumination
blue: remote/antenna

if those color are all you have, orange would be a +. start by hooking up yellow to + and black to - and see if it will turn on, if not add in the orange to +. if will turn on, use a volt meter to see witch remaining wires have constant 10-15 volts. now take a junk speaker (test the speaker with a 9v batter to see if it works) and randomly hook it up to remaining wires that don't have constant 10-15 volt till you find a matches (it most likely will have only 2 channel output). if it don't turn on stop and contact cobra
