Can anyone tell me how to remove hte dash pad from my truck?
I have a 1966 F100. A local man is going to recover it for me but, I don't know how to get it out of the truck.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I imagine they come off just like the 67-72 ones do. There are several studs in the pad that stick thru the dash with nuts on them...
Some of the nuts can be a pain to get to...
You have to pull a few things... pulling the glove box, radio, ash tray make it lots easier.
Then it should come off, sometimes it gets sorta stuck so you have to pull on it. Just be careful not to damage it in the process, as they can get pretty brittle.

so you have a chain saw?
there are 14 nuts on the back side of the dash pad. i think they are 3/8 or maybe its smaller. you will have to remove the glove box radio instrument cluster and maybe the ashtray to get at them.

i took mine off recently....i forget, but there are around 15 studs/nuts....on the passenger side what i did was remove the glove box which gave me very easy access to the nuts that run across the front of the dash and the windsheild side of the dash...around the center of the dash i removed the flexible air ducts and that gave me middle of the dash access for my hand but could still reach the middle nuts from the glove box ....for one other i took out the ash tray and reached through there to get it....on the driver side all you can do really is get up under there the best you can....i had the seat out so it made it fairly easy...... fortunately there's no nuts above the instrument panel (in the front that is, there are some on the windsheild side not blocked by the guages ) ...unscrew the instrument panel though because there's a lip that catches the dash...there will be one nut to the left of the instrument panel ( in the front ) it is in the mirror image place of the one you will find on the passenger side...that may prove the hardest to get to...if you can get buy without removing the flexible air ducts, that might be the way to go, because i found mine very fragile...overall there's a row of nuts towards the back by the windsheild that run all the way across and theres a row in the front to the right of the instrument panel and one to the left of the instrument panel...with a flashlight you can spy most of them through the glove box...some guys on here are running the bare metal dash....their pics can show you the location of the stud holes
concerning removing the radio and instrument panel.....i reached through the glove box and got the one by the radio off real easy..i took the ashtray out for the other one by the radio...the ashtray is three screws ...i left the radio in ...i also left the instrument panel in....the way i got the one off to the left of the instrument panel was with a deep socket on a swivel and an extension bar..to get it back on i would have put tape on the socket to hold the nut as i maneuvered it on ( i didn't put that one back on because the used dash i got was missing that stud..( i knew that before buying it )

Probably a nut driver, and some antiseptic spray will be good to have.
