windshield rubber shrinkage
my truck sat in the high desert here in calif all it's life....it freezes during the winter and hits 120 during the summer...my windshield and back window both have large gaps, little gaps, and cracks all around the rubber...ever seen this before, this bad at least....just curious.... ![FORDification Rocks! :fr:](./images/smilies/icon_FORDification.gif)

Yeah, I've seen the same thing. It splits at the joining seam, and the gap slowly grows.
BTW: sweet interior! Looks really clean!

Ditto. I wish mine was only that bad. On top of the two spots you have, a smoker could thump his cigarettes out the upper left corner where it's seperated ("could"
).

Re: windshield rubber shrinkage
Mine had the chrome trim with the original seal still underneath, I could stick my thumb in all four corners, on both sides. Luckily the back had been replaced at some point and the chrome trim was ditched.
Now I have new windshield and back seals in, no trim, we will see how long it last in the Texas sun.
