seats in ford f100

Post by tommycaire@yahoo.com »

i am considering putting bucket seats in my 1972 f100. i would like to know if the gas tank in the cab has to go. i am wondering if the newer seats are longer or not. thanks.

No buckets fit in perfect, as long as you get low sitting ones.

what do you mean by low sitting ones. i looked in one of the other categories and it says that you can use seats from 85 to 95.which of these are considered low riding.thanks.

I mean like bronco buckets, or car buckets. Dont use van buckets or most truck buckets. Otherwise you will be close to steering wheel if not too close. Plus you will have to fab your own brackets.
