Does someone know if this plug will fit a late 70-72 ignition? Can someone look for me if you don't know off hand?
The PO put a Ron Francis wiring harness in and this is the plug for the ignition. I was foolish and didn't look before I ordered a new ignition switch and got the one with round connectors. I would rather not splice the wires if I don't have to, and the ignition he put in there doesn't fit (it looks like it's a switch from a trailer or something, not a truck). If this is right for the later model ones I'll get the later switch.
Which ignition is this for?

Which ignition is this for?

It's for my twin boys, sure they're only 3 right now, but it's all for them! Well, and my twin girls. They're not even 1 yet, but when they are I'll have a pit crew!

i don't think so that isnt right for our switches.heres a quick pic at this time of night. the blade switches have the blades going in several different directions. that plug wont fit onto the stock switches.

Thanks for getting that picture for me. I guess I'll have to get the plug and splice wires. At least the Ron Francis wires are labeled.

Re: Which ignition is this for?
you shouldnt have to cut the wires on your new harness, you can just pull the metal connectors out of a plug to repair them or whatever. Ive pulled plugs apart before to change the plugs or replace a bad connection. There is just a little tang on the back of the connector that locks into the plug, if you have a small screwdriver or something small and flat you can release that tang and pull the connector(s) out.

Thanks, for now I've decided just to leave it. It works, and that's good enough for the time being.
