Radio delete plates

Post by 91Bear »

I have one in my truck and I wonder if anyone else would like one. I found someone who can reproduce it in plastic. Let me know if you are interested and maybe we could have a batch made.

(Now if Ranchero50 could make some out of billet aluminum, that would be REALLY cool.)

I'm not sure. I'm trying to figure out how much demand there is. I was not aware that the '67 radio delete plate was different. I would need a '67 plate to use as a template in order to have more made.

It would be super slick if a billet single din stereo adapter plate could be made. The black plastic metra doesn't seem right with the chrome hvac controls under it.

That is not the same as the delete plate for my '69 Ford. My part number is C8TB-8104371-AW. Anyone know what year the plate in the auction is for? I thought it might be the rare '67 only plate but I believe that one is narrower.

Ive made this mistake once already. I bought a delete plate that came out of a 67 from a junk yard here. Cleaned it, painted it, then figured out it wouldnt fit. At the same time figured out a wiring harness from a 67 wont work in a 69 either.

how about a coin operated one that says beer. your friends would be putting coins in it all day long and not be able to get it to give them any beer.
