best electric fan

cjroddam asked about a good electric fan. I bought a 16" from JC Whitney about 9 years ago, and it has served me well here in hot SoCal summers. I haven't checked their catalog lately, but I assume it's still available. Also, because the fan draws a lot of amperage, run it through a relay to dissipate heat. I learned this little tidbit the hard way. Oh yeah, definitely don't run the fan through the ignition switch. This switch doesn't like the heat, and will catch on fire when provoked. Yes, I also learned this from experience
