Rally Pac temporarily installed in the Bump

Post by Happy_Camper »

I've been thinking about installing a Rally Pac in the bump, as it has a tach, and a clock. So I pulled the one from my old Mustang and stuck it in just to check the fit. Seems like it would work pretty nicely. I'd still like to fab up a nice lower cover for the column though.

Here's a picture from Mustangs Unlimited of a "reproduction Rally Pac" 6K tach with "Ford" script. (sorry for the poor picture quality).

Here are a couple of shots of the modified one from the old Mustang (I swapped the tach for a G-Meter to get some performance figures a while back):

That does look really good in there. Now that I am thinking about it I thought sometime back that I read somewhere that they might have been an option. But I could be wrong, never seen one before in a truck. I like it.

Looks cool. A little modding on a trim to mount around it, and it'd look factory perfect.

That looks like it belongs there. My wife bought me one of the 66 rally pacs for my truck a couple of years ago, but I just haven't gotten aroung to rebuilding the truck. One day.

I don't want to give em a heart-attack. That is what would happen if I answered the door in the buff. Heck it almost scares me to death when I step out of the shower and look in the mirror.~Mancar1~
