Dash pad removal
I know this has probally been covered here before, but I'm new to the forum and am trying to figure out how to remove my old dash pad/what's holding it in place? Could someone please reply to my question. Thanks!

Re: Dash pad removal
About 10 or 12 nuts under the dash itself. You have to take out. The instrument panel radio and glove box to reach them all. Either a 7/16 or 3/8 wrench will take them off don't remember. And also even after getting all those out It can still be stuck down from age and may take some prying.
It Al depends on if you want to save the dash pad or not as to how rough you may need to beyo get it out.
Or it may come out easy. Btw don't forget the two easily missed two nuts in the far corners.
If I missed any thing some one will chime in.

I don't really care about brands Chevy Ford Dodge ...as long as it doesn't sound like two old dudes farting in a coffee can.

Re: Dash pad removal
there are 14 of them.i think it takes a 3/8's. there are three or four behind the leading edge of the pad. the rest are back towards the windshield under the pad.
