headliner ideas

i was in the subaru this weeknd going to the 4th of july thing. and was looking at the headliner in it. it is one of those all rubbery type one piece headliners. but it wasnt all flat. i am sure that i have seen them all flat in other cars that were made of the same type of material. so i was thinking if you got a headliner like that out of a car. you could cut out a piece from front to back wide and side to side for the front to back of these trucks it would give enough material to give you a nice new style type of headliner. maybe even a station wagon type of car that woudl give you even more room to cut out a nice area in it. and if the cars headliner had a dome light in it you could reuse the dome light in tandem with the trucks dome light.

its a good idea, but you might end up having problems with the contour of the 2 different roofs........recovering the stock cardboard headliner worked for me. the PO put in home insullation in the void between the head liner and the roof, works good.
