Re: lmc arm rest
There have been people who have bought them and they all say the same them: They are worthless junk that doesn't fit right.
National Parts Depot (http://www.npdlink.com/) has them. I would suggest getting them from there.

Re: lmc arm rest
I can't comment on the LMC arm rests, but I am definitely happy with the ones I bought from NPD.

Re: lmc arm rest
I bought '70 arm rests and love them. No problems at all. I know the '67s are different but no comment on those. I imagine they are very similar in quality to my '70s.

Re: lmc arm rest
the 68-72 lmc arm rests have a design to them and they are harder than a rock. i saw the ones ezernutt has on his truck. and they are like i described. plus he has a problem with hte space betwwen the handle and the arm rest . i dont remember if its too close or he had it shimmed and it was too far away.

I originally got mine from LMC and had to send them back because they didn't fit. The ones I got from NPD were pretty good.

Re: lmc arm rest
I just bought some from lmc for my 72.
Not so happy.
I had to modify the driver's side arm rest so the handle had enough room to pull back. I don't really care right now, but I plan to replace them in the future with better reproductions from another supplier.

Re: lmc arm rest
Now you guys got me second guessing myself. I was getting ready to order new armrest from lmc cause they have everything in orginal color(off white) except the seat upholstery kit.Dang it guys, now Iam not so sure about spending the $100. Atleast I dont get any suprises.I dont know how to dye the black ones the other guys sell.

Re: lmc arm rest
they make a paint to paint the black ones any color you want. you must use the cleaner adhering stuff first though. they say thats the secrect to making the paint stay on it.
