Seatbelt shoulder mount question?
I just received my seatbelts from seatbeltpros and have a question. I pulled the plugs out where the seatbelts mount for shouldermounts, the hole is not threaded .It looks like a metal sleeve that you either tap it or can you remove it somehow? I was looking at it last night so maybe I missed something? Thanks guys

Re: Seatbelt shoulder mount question?
Well I searched again and found another thread where they said mid 71 chaanged position of mounting hole and some were not threaded. I had read where one guy had just changed to a 3/8 " bolt and was wondering what I had missed! Looks like I will be tapping it.

Re: Seatbelt shoulder mount question?
I just got mine also!
I've got a 1970 and the holes are threaded, however I got a 3/8" bolt today and it's too big, it looks like I need a 5/16" bolt.

Just did the install on my 70 F250, the holes were already tapped. I wonder though how
strong that mount really is, hope I never find out.

Re: Seatbelt shoulder mount question?
I ended up tapping the hole with a 3/8 nc tap and bought two 3/8 grade 8 bolts . Haven't put seat belts in yet but atleast the shoulder bolt holes are ready! ![Happy Dance :hd:](./images/smilies/icon_dancing.gif)
