73 column in 69 wiring issues

Post by two69&one67 »

I instilled 1973 automatic steering column i my 1969 f100. Some of the wires match and some don't. Haveing trouble figuring this out. Can any one help? The 69 was a three speed. I could really use the schematics for the 69 and 73. Thanks for any help.

the 73 column has a hazard flasher in it. so two of those wires wont be used at all. i think the 73 also has two horn wires so you will only need the one wire for the horn. let us know if that link above doesnt help.
