1970 dash cluster wiring-Ughhhh

Post by Lickmstickmman »

I have tried using our resources first, but it has made me even more confused...

I am trying to figure out the configuration of the dash cluster connection... the wiring diagram we have here has more wires addressed than what I actually have... and there numbered instead of color coded.
I have the following (and have figured a few of them out)
left side:
Green/blk trace - hi-lo lite
white/blu trace - right turn
black - ground
blue/red trace - ?
lt blue/red trace -connected to the one above.. still ?
tan/white trace - left turn
red - ?
yellow - ?

other side:
white/red tracer - ?
Orange - fuel
Purple - key hot
Red/white trace - ?

Anyhow, I havent figured which is headlight switched (tried w/test light, might be a fuse blown). Need to find volts, oil and water temp in the ones with "?" marks.

Any help would be appreciated.
