Pulled the whole wiring harness out of my free '69 F250. Most of the harness was melted or hacked to death and held together with house wire nuts. I plan to rewire this truck as simple as possible...no frills. Using a GM 1 wire setup for the alternator. But so far I have one question... I was able to save about 7 inches of the ignition switch pigtail to hook my own harness to it. I see one wire that is marked "resistor wire" that has power in both start and run. Am I right to assume that this goes to the coil? The wire is awfuly thin gauge.
thanks for any info!
