http://www.fordification.com/images/sch ... _quick.jpg those look like they were added for something else. the brown one with the white strip must go to the battery side of the relay to power something. the white ont i dont know. the onyl white on up from is suppose to be parking lights/blinkers.

Okay here we go again... I followed the biege wire behind the battery and out a hole in the front grill. The picture was taken shooting through the grill insert. The lovely Carol Merril is pointing to where it ends. A small toggle switch. All by its lonsome. what the heck???? Okay here is a little history on the truck. It started its life as a City of Portland public works truck. There is a spotlight in the bed pointing towards the cab I figured was a feature for backing under a camper. This is wired to something else, and why would there be a toggle in the grill for something in the bed?

Maybe that triggers the airbags. Must be an add-on for something. My question is, whats the switch to the right of the solenoid that looks like a pushbutton?

Ithink the black wire is used to power the roof or body clearance lights (which i dont see form your pic) or camper plug clearance lights .

The button to the right of the solenoid, is the light switch for the under hood light, which is not there. it just has two dead heads on it, no wires in sight.

I vote for a kill switch.....it makes sense. It's hidden but fairly easy to access to prevent theft.
