:yt:

If you can't find a nice-looking momentary-on switch, you can always use a push-button starter switch.

With a toggle switch, it's possible to leave it on and forget it, and you'll eventually drain the battery.

Why is it that there's seldom time to fix it right the first time, but there's always time to fix it right the second time???

Sounds like you have a problem with either the voltage regulator or alternator (would guess the alternator) as the voltage should be around 13.5V+ minimum at idle and when reved up it should not go above 14.5V. :2cents:

Hey Thunderfoot...

Yeah that's the conclusion I came to as well...
It could be the battery isolator, it is new as well.
How can I tell for sure which one of them it is?
Both were replaced less than a year ago, but only have about 300 miles on them.
I've got a 100amp alternator comin' from Robert (rjewkes).
