and I thought my rust in cab was bad! But I did have to cut into the p/s door frame like you did. Mine had a mouse nest in there and I had to get out all the old rusted out sheet metal and replace with new. what a pain, stupid mice

they do look sharp without the fenders, but i'm kinda partial to them myself. it would fit the look though

i get what ur saying...good idea but i'm dwelling on the convertible idea...

,still looking for the crown vic front suspension...once thats squared away then this thread will have A LOT more action...

, so far this week i've got the entire mountaineer dash out, so its just wiring and fire wall, next i'm going to totally remove the wiring in the f100, even the brake light harness, i dropped the steering column, not sure if i wanna use the merc column w/mods...idk we'll see

, i meant to put the p, but havent thought about the manifolds yet...i kno the mountaineer manifolds are ugly but its better than nothing and can always upgrade later, just want to make it roadworthy and drag some rails in time for slamfest 09 in tampa,fl...

i'll probably try and find some nice longtubes or fab some up after october if all goes well

holy crap this build was on hold for awhile..

, finally got the cab off...anyone want the frame???...pick it up n its yours!!!..have so many more plans since the last time i was on here..wanna order 2 3x3x1/4" sticks and build my own frame w/tubular control arm set up , i recently purchased a bag-on-bar cantilever 4-link for the rear set up, still have the running mountaineer that i plan on using the entire drivetrain in 5.0/auto/8.8
