any help would be a great help its been 7 years since i took it apartvery close to putting a 68 m-100 back on the road

to put the door seal on you use wether strip adhesive. the two ends of the seal go under the door seal plate.

on the bottom trere is no pinch weld or ridge like rest of door frame any pics would help

do you open up that slot so it lyes flat and door sill screws over it

Yes. It follows the edge of the door, with the round seal edge on the outside, just like the rest of the door frame. The slotted part part just lies flay, and the door sill screws down over it.

Like Flyboy says, the single layer of rubber that "clamps" the pinch weld around the inside top and sides of the door opening is rolled out flat along the floor and the carpet and sill plates go down over it. You might be able to see how it works in some of my pics here:
