Mustang steve, i'm confused on your site you say with a brake only pedal setup the plastic is all thats used to repair the worne out pedal parts, did i read this wrong? surely the ball bearing upgrade is best for both set ups?

I had to put my brakes back together without the plastic bushing as i lost mine while working on the truck and couldn't find a replacement anywhere.

The ballbearing setup is for clutch pedal shafts. Even with the bearing kit installed, the brake pedal still pivots about the 5/8" clutch pedal shaft on plastic flanged bushings. The brake pedal just doesn't get enough rotational movement to wear out the plastic bushings, or for you to notice the difference in rotational effort when you push the pedal.

You CAN install the bearing kit on an automatic tranny vehicle, but it is really not necessary. If you need the plastic flanged bushings, I also have those separately. If you have a truck that you are converting from manual tranny to automatic, and the pedal support has damage to the pot metal bushings, then one of my bearing kits will fix it. The beauty of this bearing conversion is that it will work no matter how badly damaged the old pedal support is.

Thanks for the business, guys! I have been installing bearing kits on about 4-5 pedal supports every week due to added publicity generated here and on some Mustang sites.
