tail light wiring diagram

okay, so i looked at the diagram for the 67 mercury100 wiring. but, its not as detailed as what i need. soooo, once again if someone has an indepth diagram of the tail light wiring i would very much appreciate it. thanks

brown is tail lights / brake lights.
green is driver side
yellow with a black stripe is passenger side
the reverse lights are black with a red stripe.

my wiring must have been redone cause the yellow is the drivers side. my drivers side blinker works,but not the passenger. but neither side has just tail lights. both front signals work, and the switch works great. there should be three wires going to each side right? i could really use a diagram if anyone has it. kinda a dummy and need a visual aid LOL. but thank you fordman for the input.

here is the simplest diagram that is on the site. yes there should be only three in the tail light harness but the other harness will have four one is the ground. http://www.fordification.com/images/sch ... ghts02.jpg im sorry yellow is drivers side and green is passenger side. i go them mixed up. i was looking at 69 diagram that i have here .

you did click that link i posted didnt you? that i sto the diagrams for the 67 exterior lighting. it is the simplest diagram i could find on the site.

oh ok i misunderstood.

its apparent that wiring is not my strong point. both my front signals work, they're all good. ive got tail lights they work fine too. ive got my left blinker in the rear, but still no right blinker. so, i traced the wires into the cab and right into the colum, where i found i have no rear blinker in the switch itself. how doi fix that? without replacing the whole thing???

how do you have no blinker in the column? is it just no power to it? can you give some more info?

theres power into the switch, but nothing going out from the switch. when i turn the signal on and touch my test light to the wires it blinks,but nothing relays from the switch to the signal. its like its not connecting somehow. i've traced it all the way into the colum. theres nothing the whole way down the line untill im right inside the switch. i don't know if that explains it or just caused more confusion let me know either way. thanks

in the 69 diagrams. the power goes from the fuse box to the neutral safety swithc and then to the washer pump then to the turn signal flahser from the turn signal flasher it goes to the turn signal switch. if nothing is coming out of the turn signal swithc the switch must be bad on that side.

i have had a dead wire in the plug just outside the cab before. when i jumpered it from one side to the other it worked.

might check that out if it comes out of the switch at all. could it be a bad ground at the tail turn assemblies socket?
