Hood Marker Lights

Post by qmcdugan »

I’ve got a 68 that I’m getting cleaned up and repainted. So I thought that I’d ask if it might be possible to get a light wired behind that hood reflector and dump the goofy 68 side marker lights that don‘t work anyway. Sorry Ford, I don’t like the, lets slap on trailer markers for side lights idea. If the idea works I've got a couple of side lights for someone looking for resto lights. Both are in excellent shape.

i havent read that other thread lately. but one thing that comes to mind is. the reflector inthe emblem has a meatl plate behind it. to hold the reflector into the emblem. if that was removed and the reflector glued to the emblem. then you might be able to rig up a light of soem sort behind the emblem using something from another car. but just the backing part with the light socket in it.
