have 69 ranger parts truck, have 72 custom with idiot lights and standard cluster. Would like to put cluster from 69 with factory gauge cluster in 72, i'm told there is some elements of the 69 wire harness that i will have to use on the 72. Is there a detailed tutorial on this site or is there someone here who has done this that can give some info on what to do,i'm not exactly an electrical whiz.

the easy way to do it is to swap the cab and front clip wiring from one truck to the other. keep it mated together. or you will have a bunch of wiring around to do. i dont think you can just swap one or two sections and make it work.
