Wipers Dont Work
I was putting a delay wiper setup (from a `78 truck) on my `67 F100 today. Prior to the installation , the wipers worked. Now , I cant get the to work with either switch (old or delay). Looking at previous posts, it appears that wire 763 should always have 12 volts to it, regardless of ignition switch position. It doesnt. In troubleshooting this problem, should I look at 1. the ignition switch , as it appears the current goes through the switch on the way to the wiper switch. 2. The fuse block. Where should I hook my test leads ? When I hook to 763 , I get nothing. Thanks

Re: Wipers Dont Work
i would start at the fuse. hook the test leads across the fuse and see if its good. if you are gettign power through the fuse see if you are gettign power to the ignition switch. it has to be a loose wire or a bad fuse it sounds like.

Fixed the wipers today. Turns out 763 had no power. I wired it to the ignition switch per the wiring diagram and now have wipers! Thanks Fordman!
