radio repair cleaning tuning service

Post by fordman »

i have several radios here. they are all car radios. i know they make an electronics spray . to spray into the volume button to get the static out of the volume control.
i have 2 radios that may need that doen to them.
one for those radios thought it may not be a simple spraying to get it to work. i get no sound at all out of it. other than a scratchy sound when i turn the volume knob. the hookups are all good to it. including the anteena. so where would i look if the spray doesnt clear it up? this radio is older than 67. i read somethign abotu a voice coil inside radios. i am pretty lost when it comes to doing stuff liek this.

Fordman,

How often do you get to Olathe?
1970 Ford Boss 302
1972 Ford F100

Old Fords are like fine wine, they just keep getting better with age.
