starting problems
I just pulled out a 4.0L V6 motor out of my 1994 Ford Ranger and now I have a problem with the wiring for the starter on the new motor that i just put in. I can not seem to get the truck started with out hotwiring it. What do I need to do to fix this problem.

Re: starting problems
what did you put back in it? the starter wires should be the same i would think surely if you just swapped same sized engines you could reuse your old starter. maybe you got the wires crossed or something. were you able to use your old engine wiring and everything original to the truck wiring wise? that may be the problem too.

Re: starting problems
i put the same size engine back into to the truck. So like you said there might be a backwards wire or something like that but i will have to check to see if that is the problem. I hope that will fix it.
