I just got the truck back doesn't look like any of the gauges work!

Doesn't look that way. He said the only that didn't work was the temp gauge but I drove the thing home and the fuel gauge read 3/4 of a tank and I ran out of gas a block from home!

maybe he turned the ivpr the wrong way.

This is the reply I got from the kid who worked on my truck.

I wouldnt know where to start with the gauges though, because you have voltage to the gauges, and a good ground at the gauges. I checked out a book at the public library containing the trucks wiring diagram. According to the diagram, the wiring is correct. The sensors were replaced also, so I dont know what it could be.

Any ideas??

ok here is where i read the thing about 5 volts. i guess the ipvr gives out a 5 volt pulse. for the fuel gauge to work properly. this is what i have tiem to read and check out right now. http://www.fordification.com/tech/fuel- ... -units.htm
