does anyone have any tips on removing the stem of the head light switch? I can push the button in but the the stem does not move.....

All you should have to do is press the little release button on top of the switch and pull out on the stem. You might have to wiggle a little bit while you're pulling, but it should come out.

i have found that the little button is hard to push with my fingers. i have to press kind of hard for them to push down fully.
