ABS Plastic Headliner
Does anyone know anything good or bad about the ABS plastic headlines from Obsolete Ford Parts?

Re: ABS Plastic Headliner
I haven't looked at it, but I'm guessing it's the same thing that LMC sells. I've heard that they tend to trap moisture above the headliner area, which isn't good. That area needs air circulation to keep dry. Either that, or you need to spray some expandable foam down inside the windshield pillars to prevent moisture from entering there.
The speakers they come with are terrible and you should plan on replacing them with something better.

Re: ABS Plastic Headliner
Had a friend that put one (from LMC) in a 85 ish' chebby. The speakers were rated for something like 20 watts of power. What a joke. But all n all the headliner looked ok.
Im sure the ones for the bumps are the same as his chebby one, just made to fit a bump.

Re: ABS Plastic Headliner
I have a plain ABS Plastic headliner from LMC (no speakers), and I like it. It is a pain in the butt to put it in cause the plastic is so stiff, but It was worth it.

Re: ABS Plastic Headliner
I had one fron JCWhittney in my 68F250. came with the 20w? speakers.
It was pretty nice. There was just a Ebay truck listed that had one and it had been covered with fabric. That looked real nice..

Re: ABS Plastic Headliner
Ok, thanks guys. The one i was looking at is just flat with no speakers. My stock headline is covered in tan velour but the headliner itself is falling apart. I was thinking about buying the ABS headliner and gluing the velour onto it.
