1970 factory A/C
I have a 1970 F-100 Ranger XLT with factory A/C. I was wondering how hard it would be to fix the front fascia on it. There is a piece missing from the front of it and a few of the grille vents on the lower right hand corner are missing. if its too hard to fix does anyone have one for sale. I really dont care if it works or not, i just need it for asthetic purposes since that i am doing a full restoration on it.

If you find a way to fix it, let the rest of us know!!!
Wise men talk because they have something to say; fools talk because they have to say something.--Plato
Why is it that there's seldom time to fix it right the first time, but there's always time to fix it right the second time???
That's not an oil leak That's SWEAT from all that HORSEPOWER!!

once those break and you loose the pieces you are finished. if you have the pieces maybe you could glue them back in. so they can break again later. mine has the same problem. i got a new case. so it can break later.

i forgot to mention but a guy has a 71 f-100 for 500 that has a perfect a/c/ is that too much for just the a/c. the truck has one straight body panel and the motor is in the box.

Depends on how badly you want it. IMO $500 is too much for just the suitcase, but you could buy it, remove the A/C and then either re-sell the truck or part it out and make your money back. For the first few years I was working on my truck, that's how I financed the restoration. I'd buy a parts truck, keep a few needed pieces for myself and then sell the rest here or on E-bay. I'd usually come out making a profit.
Anyway, here are the part numbers from the MPC, if you want to start scouring the NOS parts dealers.
