OT 1979 fog light switch and bracket

Post by fordman »

does anyone know anything about the 79 trucks and a factory fog light switch and bracket? its mounted under the dash to the left side fo the column. it has a factory heater style knob on it. and the wires go through a factory rubber groumet in the firewall. it then hook to a junction box on the upper drivers side firewall / cowl. from that junction block the power wire goes over to the factory starter relay. the wire that goes from the firewall out to the fog lights has been cut off.
is this a rare item? has anyone ever seen one before? does anyone have any info about it?

on the same truck on the center just to the right of the trans tunnel is another light and bracket. i think it is factory also. i think this is the 4h lock light can anyone confirm this? This is a 1979 4wd autotrans with a married transfer case. i think . i didnt really look at the ttransfer case yet.
