67 dash lights
I was wondering what the voltage should be at the pin for the dash lights? I have apx 6vdc at this location but the two lamps behind the gauges do not come on when the lights are turned on. the other lights on the cluster work ie.turn signals, brake light etc. Thanks

The Voltage is adjustable via the rheostat in the light switch... as you turn the knob it will adjust the voltage to the lights to make them brighter or dimmer... (as long as the rheostat hasn't gone bad)
6V should be enough for them to light very dimly though... have you checked the bulbs?

I replaced the lamps with known good ones, I am pretty sure the rheostat was turned down on dim I didn't turn it up while checking the voltage. I suppose that would have been a good to do.

I don't really care about brands Chevy Ford Dodge ...as long as it doesn't sound like two old dudes farting in a coffee can.

Re: 67 dash lights
the cause was dirty rheostat sprayed with electro contact cleaner and now the lights are intermittent but the more I operate the rheo the less issues I am having.
