Re: 4X4X4 LET THE GAMES BEGIN!
Got a cool gas cap installed. It is from Hagan hot rods and comes all assembled. I had to do some major modifications to get it work, like english wheel the cover to form the corner of the cab. Works nice!
The stock fuel filler neck opening
The installed fuel box and door
Now it ready for paint!

Rattlecan, this is a great thread! That fuel door is awesome! I may do that on my 67, if I don't put in a frame tank.

Thanks! I can get to the cap to take it off but it is a tad tight in there. There is a cool feature, though, I can fuel it up without taking the cap off, there is a spring loaded door within the cap that allows a nozzle to fit into it.
I got it from Hagans street Rods, a friend told me about them. Here is the web site for those who want one.

Really cool place! I did have to do quite a bit of work to make it fit.
This is one of 3 tanks I will have in the truck, gonna need it!

Re: 4X4X4 LET THE GAMES BEGIN!
Well I got some time to paint the rest of the cab last weekend and I put the completed bed back on for good. Also painted the tailgate and installed the new bumper. I'll be honest, I am tired of sanding!
The completed big block, ready to go in
painting the cab, on the frame.
tailgate
after some buffing (look at the other bump in the reflection)
assembly
tailgate hardware
