If it Looks good and Works good then it's ok by me. Everything has its issues from time to time...

I learned more about this today. My buddy brought over a new-in-the-box turn signal switch, a few years old but the same p/n. It is slightly different from my spanking-new one, but only in that the tracers on a couple wires are straight whereas the tracers on my new one's spiral around the wire. It turns out the wires on the new switch are not different colours; the problem is that the original switch's wires have faded and changed colour over the years. Problem solved!

In this drawing the "Blue = power from horn" is not the power from the horn, it is the power from the Turn Signal Flasher to power the Turn Signals. The horn is activated by the Horn wire, which is a grounding signal, the horn gets its power from the Horn Relay on the right side fender next to the battery. It is activated by this grounding wire "yellow = horn in your drawing" in the steering wheel.

These drawings should help out others, nice.
