Is this a problem that just showed up (was working before and now isn't) or is it a problem that came with the truck when you got it? :?

67twinstang,
You definitely should get some kind of insulation around this wiring connection when done. Not too cool for underdash wiring to be left exposed like this:

At first the brake lights and interior dome light would always stay on when the truck was running and I couldn't get them to shut off and now this.

Oh and I forgot to mention that my emergency flashers don't work either. I hate electrical issues

It's the one right next to the dome light one. http://www.fordification.com/tech/wirin ... epanel.jpg

That doesn't surprise me, they are on the same power circuit and feed all the way up to the TSS via 2 separate routs but meet at the same location going into the TSS. So one of two possible issues still, either the power for it or the TSS.

And that jumper might be on that fuse because corrosion has caused the contact to fail behind the fuse holder where they are riveted together.

I fixed the problem. Believe it or not the corroded terminals in the fuse box were the source of the problem. :woohoo: So I cleaned up the terminals with some sandpaper and replaced the fuses. Now my brake lights and emergency flashers are working. Thanks for all the info and help.
