lights go bright or dim with accelerator
weird just last night it wouldnt start, im not sure what type of battery i need but seems like its not enouight power, isnt 12v all the same.

that is the sign of a weak or nonworking charging system. if you can get the truck to a autoparts store they can put a tester on it fo rfree to test the battery alternator and regulator for free.
