Just noticed lately that Ford still uses the same door handles that they did on my bump. You can find them in recent years Ford Econoline work/utility vans. They're used for the inside handles on the rear swinging doors and sometime the side doors too. The only difference is they're painted a flat black color, not chromed like the one in my bump. Would make for good replacement or customization.
Someone may have already pointed this out before on Fordification, but it just caught my attention the other day when I got up close to an Econoline that couldn't have been more than 5 years old.

yes they are. also some of them are still chrome metal. the plastic ones can also be had from areostar vans. the metal ones were used from 80-86 vans atleast.
