Post by 1968 royal ranger »

the carpet that goes behind the bucket seats is it lighter in thickness so it bends and lays better and does the gas tank belong inside if its bucket, interior thanks mike :fr: :hmm: also does the chrome trim holding carpet below back window just snap on???

i think the carpet is to hide the incab tank. so yes the tank would be inside the cab if you had carpet on the back wall.

The carpet on mine is of the same thickness as the regular carpet in the cab. Yes, it does conceal the in-cab fuel tank behind it. The chrome trim on mine does not snap in but is rather held in place by a screwed in chrome trim piece(s). Here are some pics. BTW my carpet is supposed to be black...it has faded a ton. I was thinking of trying to RIT dye it black again but have never done it. I think it should work out ok.
