Sometimes she reads correct and sometimes she don't. I have checked all the grounds. Any ideas on what i should check next.
My truck had the dual tanks but i removed the frame tank and and insulated the connector. it still has the gauge switch, but switch checks out good.
Does the gauge switch ground when the bezel is tightened, cause i have trouble keeping that tight and could that be the problem

Re: Fuel gauge issue
the gauges groudn to the dash support behind the cluster. the fuel gauge also grounds to the back of the cab above the fuel sender. it does sound like a loose wire some place. it could even be a bad contact in the rheostat on the sender. have you checked outthe fuel gauge tech link to check out your system?
