A/C unit heater hose change
I posted this in the intererior portion because its the A/C box that I am having trouble with. Anyone with good advice on how to drop down the A/C box without taking all of the stuff on top off I am in need of it. I have to change the heater hoses and this thing is kickin my *$$. I have it dropped down some but I still cannot get to the heater hoses in the back of the box. Whoever engineered these units made it a huge pita. Since my truck is a manual, would removing the shifter be benificial?

Re: A/C unit heater hose change
i have only had mine out once and it was all the way out. i had to put a heater core in it. when i put it back in i think i had it layign in the floor tilted towards the seat and that is how i put the heaterhoses back on it. it was a pain to ge the heater hoses and a'c drain otu the holes correctly. i ende up not puttign the drain hose back correctly for soem reason. i think i left the seal around it off so i could get it through the hole in the firewall/floor area.
