Radio upgrade pics

Post by zoomer »

Does anyone have any pictures of their upgraded dash with a new system in it? I took out the AM unit and now have a gaping hole. I've had my other unit mounted under the dash. Just not sure what sort of adapter to use to mount a radio in the spot. Any ideas? Thanks guys!

I just used the slide in sleeve that comes with most stereos and used my original radio surround. Had to grind the opening larger but works fine and looks better than plastic

I installed a Retro Sound Model 1 radio in my F100 (I am after all a European dealer for them). That way no modifications are necessary.

definitely prefer chrome to plastic ;) newer audi's are supposed to have colored wood grain dash and interior accessories, luxurious v dubs with the brushed aluminum, new trucks with stained wood grain dash and steering wheels, old cars and trucks are supposed to have chrome ;)
