High or Low horn?

Post by 91Bear »

My truck only has one horn. I've thought about adding the missing one. How can I tell which one I have, high or low?

Mines factory... only has the one to my knowledge. Ive never seen a second one lurking. Not sure if its the H or L note. The solution is simple though...

Go out to your local pull a part yard. Go find the biggest meatiest pair of horns you can and swap out the old one you have for the new twins. Wire everything up as needed and have fun.

Ya got a little tired of my low tone horn honking every other turn due to my after market steering wheel, plus it didn't make people move so I went down to O'Reilly's and bought me these Horns. :D Only 27 bucks not bad, I love them but my neighborhood doesn't  I guess my whole neighborhood doesn't like my truck peirod. :hmm: I gave them a coat of flat black and made a mount to hide them behind the grill so its in the best spot no even see's their there when their looking at my truck.
I am getting a second pair from Autozone so I have Low and High Tone Air horns  better than stock price for both under $60 bucks.
