A friend gave me a am/fm radio for my Falcon. I'm am trying to figure out which of these wires are pos and neg. They are:
Gray-Right com ?
Violet/ Black- Right rear
Gray/ Back- Right front
White- Left com ?
Green/ Black- Left rear
White/ Black- Left front
More info: This is a Jensen am/fm cassette radio. Any help will be very appreciated.

Are those the only wires on the stereo? There should be a black wire for ground and generally a red or yellow wire for power from what I've seen.

yes there is a yellow, red and black on the harness. i know where those need to go, but am having trouble knowing what left and right com is.

common = negative. Common because one negative supplies both speakers of one side. aka right comm is the negative for right front and right rear.
