Guys,
I need your help please. I have a SBF dual point dizzy, that I had planned to put into my build.
Question is this: Do I have any options on what else other than points I can do with this dizzy?
Is there any way to put two Pertronix ignitors into it?
I've got a SBF Duraspark dizzy and all the wiring for it, I could throw into the build.
I just really want to stay with the points type dizzy if possible.

You can use the Duraspark one and use the points type cap and rotor on it, Looks just like a point one see the one on my mustang below... I'm kind of partial to the Duraspark with an MSD myself, just my
If you go with Pertronix in the dual point one you have, you will just eliminate one of the points setup from it (note: haven't tried it but should work). The dual point ones were to help make the points last longer as it split the voltage between the 2 setups, so less of an arc wearing on them.

Dual points were used for slightly greater Dwell not longevity though that is a side benefit and also for point bounce prevention. One points opened first and the the other one closed later. Closer the distance between the points the greater the dwell. Within 3 degrees on an accel dual point after the first points opened the 2nd set opened and both points have greater gaps. This allowed the dizzy to keep the points open cleanly, no points bounce at high rpm screwing up the firing cycle. So the coil discharges without bounce cycling at high rpm. The first point starts the cycle then bounces but by then the 2nd point is open so the bounce can't close the cycle and disrupt the discharge. Then the front points close to start the dwell cycle earlier than a single points system and by closing they stop the points bounce on the second points.

(automotive) In a petrol engine, the period of time the ignition points are closed to let current flow through the ignition coil in between each spark. This is measured as an angle in degrees around the camshaft in the distributor which controls the points, for example in a 8-cylinder engine it would be 26° (spark at 45° intervals, points closed for 26° between each).
On dual points because of the staggered opening and closing we get. Dual DWELL (EA.) 26° Single DWELL 29° That is individual dwell on the dual point. Because one set of points closes sooner while the others are still open Dwell starts then. An Accel, Ford or Mallory dual point dizzy will have dwell of 31 to 34 degrees or 3 to 5 more degrees of coil charge than a single point dizzy

I don't follow you, help me understand. If you want to keep the points than why do you want to take them out and put Pertronix ignitors into it?Question is this: Do I have any options on what else other than points I can do with this dizzy?

You could not put two Pertronix in it there is no reason anyway. That is why the long dual point explanation. If you don't understand the differences you should not convert anyway. The Pertronix has a a longer dwell as a cam lobe and ramp does not hold the Pertronix open so the Dwell angle is controlled by electronics. A very fast 2 to 5 degree spike leaving 40 degrees of Dwell time on the Pertronix and Accel Point's Eliminator. Way more charge time than Dual points or single.
