Battery Box
I fabbed up a battery box/bracket to relocate my battery under the bed, on the right frame rail, in front of the right rear tire. It will be sandblasted and then POR15'ed, with a piece of aluminum diamond plate in the bottom. I'm going to mount my MSD box in the engine compartment where the battery use to was....*EDIT* Oh yeah, Optima battery to eliminate the worry of seepage.

Re: Battery Box
what gaue is our regular cables. both of those links are two different gauge wires. the one from sumit is 1 gauge and the second link is 2 gauge.

Re: Battery Box
The negative is probably a 8 or 6 guage, the positive is probably 6 guage for the original battery cables.

Re: Battery Box
I run my battery in the bed on my desert racer. Go down to the welding supply store and pick up a nice long stretch of ground cable. Nice and big, works great.

Re: Battery Box
I decided to put stainless steel in the bottom instead of aluminum. POR15, with a topcoat of Rustoleum...
I will make a box type cover for it later. Also got my 1 gauge cable kit in the mail yesterday
