Alt light on in ACC position

As title says is it normal for the Alt light on the dash to be on when the key is in the ACC position? I was listening to my stereo and happened to notice that the Alt light is on in the Acc position, is this normal? If not any clue as to why mine is on?

i can't remember. i want to say that it shouldnt be on. but i can't remember. i dont think so.

seems like it would have to be normal... doesn't ACC turn on everything except the ingnition circuit?

I wish modern vehicles had both an easily accessed ACC position with a lamp to let you know it was on. Sure beats those dingers in all the new rigs.

Yes, that is normal for the light to be on in ACC position.
