frame swap

hey guys i working on a frame swap from my 67 cab and bed, to my 78 frame. i was wondering when i switch the steering column how does the wring connect from 78 column to the 67 wiring.i was wondering do you match color coded or what thanks guys. i still got a ways to go. but all help is welcome. thanks again guys

there are some wiring diagrams over here. fo rthe 73-79 trucks. www.fordification.net just match up what the wires on the column with the ones in your truck follwoing both sets of diagrams from both sites.

I used my '70 turn signal switch in a '75 column when I did my frame swap around.

The '75 column didn't have a spot for one screw to mount the TSS, but there was more than enough screws to securely fasten it in there.

This way I didn't have to mess with rewiring the '75 TSS.

Been over a year and a half with no problems.

Now that I think about it, I probably could have changed out the area on the column that actually holds the TSS from the 70 to the 75... Hmm...

too bad he couldnt do that with the 67-78 column that would be the way to go. just swap the housing and all.
