When my mechanic got my 67 road worthy last August, we fixed a turn signal. What we missed was this: The emergency flasher works all the corners except the front right, even though all the turn signals work.
What's with that?

Re: Emergency flashers
The fronts Hazards are output from the Hazard switch itself, the output splices into the wire for the signal. You will see it is 2A in this diagram http://www.fordification.com/tech/wirin ... ghts02.jpg at the Emergency Warning Switch.
So either the switch is bad or the wire is open somewhere. More then likely the switch.

Re: Emergency flashers
you can take those switches apart and clean them. just be careful not to loose the spring when you take it apart. if you do.

Re: Emergency flashers
Fordman is right - same thing with blower switches. I just took one apart in my Mustang last night because the blower wouldn't work continously on high. Took the switch apart and used a brass brush on the copper slider and contacts. Put some white lithium grease where the plastic slider contacts the base and put it all back together. Works perfectly

Re: Emergency flashers
Problem solved!
Thanks for the diagram. I just started at the switch and guess what I found -- a loose connection on "2A".
Good to go.
