:yt: Your brake lights are stuck on, either the switch is out of adjustment or bad. It is mounted on the brake pedal arm just under the dash.

I have the same problem. Currently I have the pedal strapped up to the steering wheel to keep it of the switch, preventing battery drain. Right now I have bigger fish to fry, replaceing all brakes and lines. Before she gets put back into service, I will have to address the issue.

Good luck to ya, I will be keep up w/ this thread. :pop:

Thanks guys!As usual, you are right on target. So,I ordered a new switch from LMC.
Now,how do I replace the switch when it comes in?It's a 1970 F-100 auto trans.I can't figure out how the switch mounts to the brake pedal and I don't want to break anything trying.........

unplug the wiring from the switch and unscrew the switch from the pedal bracket. unless it has been repaired using a couple of nuts. then unscrew the nuts and slide it out of the bracket.

Thanks.Much appreciated !!!! I think its stock as there were no screws/nuts/bolts around the switch unit.
